Isn’t it great to live in a nation where the Federal Government provides us such good talking points, as a means to deal with those wing nut in-laws who haven’t yet been to an indoctrination camp.

Seriously, you’ve got to read this, from Health & Human Services.

  1. I had to go to the emergency room for a real emergency a few weeks ago and low and behold the ER was packed. The admissions nurse took my vitals and apologized for not being able to admit me right away. There were no beds or rooms.

After a 6 hour wait I was finally admitted. The staff told me that since the ACA was enacted there has been a serious influx of people coming to the ER instead of visiting their doctor during office hours and being proactive about their health.

I’ve noticed that routine appointments are back logged for weeks and even months. The healthcare community and hospitals in particular were not adequately prepared for the influx of new patients and especially patients that do not know how to take preventative measures to safeguard their health.

No one should have to wait 6 hours or more for emergency procedures.

Those talking points are a joke!
