This event is TOTALLY FREE! It is funded by the money raised at the Friends of the NRA dinners throughout San Diego County.
It is a great time and the perfect opportunity to learn how to shoot or bringing someone out who has never shot before. Mentors will assist all shooters and there will be a safety briefing before the event.
No registration required. Come out anytime throughout the day. Plus…FREE LUNCH! I hope to see you all out there!
I was looking for something exactly like this event for my 13 year old son but as it turns out, he has a Boy Scout event on the same day.
Is there any chance of getting on a mailing list for events like this in or near San Diego County?
Hi Dale, if you are not already a member of the NRA, join and you will get a lot of info about shooting events.
Also, check out the website for Lemon Grove Rod & Gun (where the event is being held). They have a ton of different shoots on the calendar. They do a lot of Boy Scout troop shoots so if your son’s troop doesn’t have a shoot planned, contact Lemon Grove Rod and Gun and they can help get it planned.
