A word of comfort for my fellow Conservatives: Are you worried that despite conventional wisdom, Republicans will NOT take back the House and Senate this fall?
In an interview with This Week, Vice-President Joe Biden said, “We’re going to win the House and we’re going to win the Senate. We’re not going to lose either one of those bodies.”
Doesn’t this give you hope and settle the matter once and for all? These sage words came from the man who told Katie Couric that following the stock market crash, President Roosevelt (not President Hoover) went on television (not radio) to explain the situation to our country. Naturally that is only one of many fun Biden facts. When he debated Sarah Palin he lied in ways that would have made Pinocchio blush. When he knows the truth he lies. When he tries to tell the truth he still comes up short in the accuracy department. Make no mistake: If Biden promises Democrats will keep congress, their loss can be taken to the bank.
If there had been any doubt before, we can now cast it away.

I definitely think we’re going to take back the House but the Senate is still a toss-up. Although I understand your point re: Biden, now is not the time to be over confident. There is still a lot to work to do and quite a few months between now and November. Even though we don’t control either house, Congress is ours to lose.
