From Coalition for Fair Employment in Construction…
We have confirmed that after two years of back and forth the Palomar Community College District (North San Diego County) Board of Trustees have agreed to hold two different meetings to discuss Project Labor Agreements (PLAs). The first meeting will be held next Tuesday (May 23rd) with the second meeting being held June 27th.
We need you!
We need to keep this massive bond and its large, upcoming projects, from going PLA and we need your help to do it.
What can you do?
1) Contact the Trustees TODAY and let them know how you feel about PLAs
- John Halcon – jhalcon@palomar.edu
- Nancy Ann Hensch – nhensch@palomar.edu
- Paul McNamara – pmcnamara@palomar.edu
- Mark Evilsizer – markevilsizer@aol.com
- Nina Deerfield – ndeerfield@palomar.edu
2) Let the Palomar CCD Foundation know that you will not support their golf tournament, scheduled for May 22nd, or future events if they go down this PLA road.
3) Attend both of these Trustee meetings with workers to show your opposition to PLAs (contact CFEC for location and time details).
Can we count on you?
Please let us know today if you can help us keep this bond PLA-free.
Yours in the fight for freedom,
