Calls Faulconer Honest, Trustworthy, Right Candidate to Lead
San Diego, CA – Today the San Diego chapter of The New Majority announced its endorsement of Kevin Faulconer for Mayor of San Diego.
“Endorsing Kevin was the obvious choice for our members,” said Kelly Burt, Chairman of the New Majority, San Diego. “Kevin is the right candidate to restore pride to the city of San Diego. In his seven years on the city council he has proven to be a leader who is honest, trustworthy and has integrity. His track record shows he is committed to fiscal restraint, limited government spending and protecting San Diego’s natural resources. He is the right candidate to balance the city’s budget and bring jobs to the community.”
“I’m grateful to have New Majority’s support,” said Faulconer. “I know they share my passion for bringing financial stability, transparency and accountability back to City Hall. I look forward to working to get San Diego past a difficult season and to restore our standing as America’s Finest City.”
Kevin has twice been elected to serve on San Diego’s Council. On the city council, he serves as chair of the Audit Committee, vice chair of the Rules and Economic Development Committee, and a member of the Budget and Finance Committee. As Audit Committee chair, Kevin worked to restore the City’s credit rating and repair its credibility with investors and the public. Kevin has a track record of success as a protector of San Diego, natural resources and it’s citizen’s hard earned tax dollars.
Burt concluded, “New Majority San Diego also fully also supports Carl DeMaio’s candidacy for United States Congress and Ron Robert’s candidacy for San Diego County Supervisor. All three candidates share our desire for smart, efficient and transparent government. All three represent the best of San Diego, are well qualified and have shown a passion for good government and for what is right for all San Diegans.”

well, no surprises here. Didn’t know a great deal about the New Majority…however, with the endorsements of DeMaio and Faulconer, that tells San Diegans all they need to know.
“Transparency, Integrity…” blah, blah…neither were shown when both candidates completley ignored and negated the will of thousands of San Diegans, and millions of fellow Californians…
Curious as to the next “Prop” or “law” they will portend toward the very people they feign protect and serve??
