San Diego Mayor Candidate and City Councilman Carl DeMaio Endorses Sherry Hodges
San Diego, CA – – San Diego City Councilman Carl DeMaio, the leading candidate for Mayor, today endorsed Sherry Hodges for the State Assembly in the 76th district.
“Sherry Hodges has a proven record of working to reform government and a strong commitment to public service. She understands the relationship between cities and the state and will be a representative we can work with for fiscally responsible budgeting and pension reform,” said DeMaio. DeMaio was the top vote-getter in the June primary election for Mayor of San Diego.
“Getting California’s economy back on track and reforming government will take teamwork and I look forward to working with Carl and other mayors and city councilmembers to make sure our communities thrive,” said Hodges. “Carl is going to be a great mayor and he is going to need leaders in Sacramento who share his vision for doing what’s right for the taxpayers.”
Sherry Hodges has been racking up major endorsements in the weeks since the June election. Recently she received the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.

Did this happen before or after Hodges left Tom Shepard? Hmm. Hell of a consolation prize.
