The Roger Covalt featured in last weekend’s Union-Trib money makeover article, “Can couple save for retirement and kids’ education?,” is none other than Rostra‘s own Poway Roger.

Roger reports that his budding career as a blogger was included in the info provided to the newspaper, but that part of his bio didn’t make it to final copy. Our guess is that the huge bucks he makes here was irrelevant, as it didn’t cause even a blip on his financial chart.

Just shows that you can be conservative, pro-conservation, anti union and a government employee whose pension won’t be 200K or even 100k or even 75K a year (yes, those government employees do exist).
Some people can live within their means and you don’t have to a make a huge sum of money to do so (But I wish I did).
One question, Poway Roger:
Does your wife have any unmarried sisters?
