This headline is absurd and was obviously used to belittle either the author, the candidate or both.
We will see what happens as I speculate there will be many more horses in the race. Fiscal conservatives, beware! Two years is a long time to raise money and I am certain there will be a lot of money thrown at this race as Atkins herself may be funding her chosen replacement.
Ed Harris does have union backing but he does not have legislative experience and he has sadly been used as a pawn by the Dems on City Council to force a supermajority vote against Mayor Faulconer.
