George Plescia has received the endorsement of the New Majority San Diego. Plescia is running to represent San Diegans in the California State Senate, 39th district.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the New Majority,” said Plescia. “I’m appreciative that they support my economic plans to jump start our economy.  We must focus on new job creation and protect and retain the jobs we have from moving to other states or countries.  Pension reform is also a crucial component to right the state budget.”

Joe Jubela, Chairman of the New Majority San Diego, said, “San Diego led the fight for pension reform and now George is taking the fight to Sacramento. Count on George to fight for meaningful pension reform to cut cost for taxpayers, to reduce the abuse, and to reduce California’s massive $500 billion unfunded liability.”

Jon Cross, Executive Director of the New Majority, said, “George believes in innovative solutions to get the job done.  He understands that delivering quality education or a stronger economy doesn’t start with partisan politics, it starts with the power good ideas and leadership.”

With chapters in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, and Santa Barbara, the membership of the New Majority consists of some of the most successful business leaders from various industries across the state. The organization is focused on electing fiscally responsible Republicans to the White House, United States Congress and California State Legislature.

George and his wife Melissa, live with their three year old daughter and two German Shepherds in La Jolla. George is a small business consultant, who recently served in the California State Assembly from 2002-2008. To learn more about George’s campaign for State Senate, visit www.GeorgePlescia.com.
