Proposition D Sales Tax trailing 48% to 29% in Channel 10 and Survey USA poll

A survey of 577 “likely voters” in the City of San Diego shows Proposition D now trailing by a margin of 48% certain to vote NO, to just 29% certain YES. The results were published by KGTV Channel 10 and the Survey USA polling firm on October 8th.

The City schools tax measure (Prop, J) was also in trouble in this survey, with 46% certain to say NO, to just 24% certain YES.

Of note, Proposiiton D trails with both men and women, and among all ethnic groups. Strongest opposition comes from self-identified backers of the Tea Party movement (68% plan to vote NO).
