According to my source tonight there is a meeting going on right now in Tierrasanta, with over TWO DOZEN community leaders from around D7 to address the question “what to do about Marti Emerald’. Attendees were asked not to discuss the meeting or attendees for fear of retribution. I will honor that request, even though the individual who reported from the event did not clear this ‘off the record’ aspect of their report before passing notes on.
The hosts of the meeting are former Emerald supporters. The majority of the attendees, from names mentioned, are not your neighborhood GOP types, but rather ‘do-gooders’, the type I normally find on the annoying side. This meeting started at 7 and has now gone on for two straight hours, with a good deal of anger over Emerald’s “erratic behavior” and “heavy handedness”. I might have added “general lunacy” and ” shoddy work ethic” but I wasn’t invited.
Fury level over Emerald’s “Advisory Council”? I asked, and got the 7 of 10 response. Most of the real anger appears to be over her know it all attitude, and her taking of controversial positions with little to no real consideration of community opinions. Couple people are there from San Carlos, Tierrasanta, and Grantville that I think would surprise her.
