Tuesday night Texas Governor Rick Perry gave an interview to Greta VanSusteren on Fox News. In the interview Governor Perry brags about how, “153 businesses, just since the first of the year, have moved out of California to Texas”.
As your future State Assemblyman, I’m extremely concerned about the growing number of businesses being forced to flee California due to over-regulation and over-taxation. It amazes me how upfront Governor Perry is about courting such businesses and the jobs they bring.
We need to get California turned around, and we need to get it turned around now!
I’ve spent the past seven days in Sacramento getting to know the other members of my freshman class. I am encouraged that voters have assembled such a pro-busness group of legislators who are committed to making California the land of opportunity.
I’m looking forward to getting the opportunity to serve along side this freshman class. We will do everything in our power to turn our state around, and bring jobs back to California.
