Chris Reed is by far the best Opinion Editor for the SAN DIEGO UNION-TRIBUNE. He describes himself as “libertarian lite.”
He is EXCELLENT! His primary emphasis is on our state and local economic woes. And yes, I’m occasionally a guest on his talk show.
Currently Chris hosts a 2 hour KOGO talk show (AM-600), 6-8 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This powerful radio station reaches up into much of the LA Basin, and as far north as Santa Barbara. But you can listen live online from anywhere — go to http://www.kogo.com/main.html and simply click the “Listen Live” button (rather intuitive!).
Since he started this gig, Chris has gotten better and better as a host. In addition, Chris is succinct. He’s delivering more excellent information per minute than any talk show host I’ve ever heard.
But wait! It gets better.
If you can’t listen live, the broadcasts are available online as “podcasts.” Just follow the bouncing ball at this site (a no-brainer):

You listen as long as you want — you can pause it. Even better, you can roughly “fast forward” the news and ads which take up a good portion of the time on any KOGO show. And you can even download the show if you want to listen while you are off the Internet.

Ideally you figure out how to use an “RSS feed” to your browser home page. That way you can see a notification whenever this blog is updated.
Indeed, an RSS feed can be used for most blogs (including SDRostra) and news sites — all the desired websites feeding update notifications (with the hot link) to your browser home page (I recommend www.igoogle.com as your home browser page).
Assuming this simple RSS procedure is above your pay grade (oddly enough, it is for most — but at least try to set it up), just make Reed’s blog a “favorite,” and visit it periodically.
For that matter, you should be reading MY blog, using the same access options listed above for Reed’s blog.
