President Obama’s Clear Position On Libya

“America cannot stand by and watch evil happen to innocent people without taking action, but we must do it in such a way that it doesn’t commit us to a war, so yes we plan to stop Muammar Gaddafi from killing more people, but no, we do not intend to remove him from power, however, (And this is very important) through pressure from the United Nations we might be able to kind of, sort of, remove him.

Remember, America cannot stop all evil in the world, but when we do see evil we must stop it, even if we don’t stop it completely and even if we fall short of removing the dictator militarily although we hope he somehow gets removed anyway. So on the one hand, we are not really fighting a war, but on the other hand it does look like a war. It is my deepest, heart felt desire that it looks enough like a war to please Conservatives but not enough like a war to please Liberals.”

NOTE: Remember when Obama was running for president? He asked a reporter to back off with questions until he finished his waffle. Worry no more about the waffle, Mr. President.
