No Show Nathan Fletcher Does It Again

Unless you have been under a rock for the past few years, you know that former right-wing Republican, then incoherent Independent, and now newly minted ultra-liberal Nathan Fletcher has a long history of not showing up for work. Well, he did it again.

Along with the other candidates for the Country Supervisor’s seat being vacated by Ron Roberts, Nathan was invited and accepted a spot so he could make his case for getting the non-partisan Lincoln Club’s endorsement. The meeting was last week and just like so many times before, Nathan was a no show.

Nathan has a long history of not showing up for work. From having a horrific reputation for not showing up at his State Assembly Job (where he skipped 60% of his votes, while he collected a $95,000 paycheck) to his “job” at Qualcomm , there is a good reason why Nathan is called “No Show Nathan.”

Not showing up to the Lincoln Club endorsement meeting is bad for two legitimate reasons:  first, he would have joined fellow Democrats such as Congressman Scott Peters, and the other qualified candidates who decided to show up in the past and secondly, fellow Democrat Kenneth Malbrough and fellow candidate for the supervisor’s seat showed courage and class by showing up.

Clearly, Nathan holds little value in having a broad coalition of people hearing what he has to say.

Maybe it is time for Nathan to have a “real conversation” with his new friends about what he really stands for and why it is important to show up for work.
