Landmark Charter City Ruling by State Supreme Court

Today the state Supreme Court ruled that charter cities don’t have to pay prevailing wage on locally funded public works contracts. This comes after a lawsuit was filed against the City of Vista by the AFL-CIO, shortly after Vista became a charter city. We at the city of El Cajon were closely watching this decision.
