It’s rare to see a life so fully lived as Mr. John Davies.
He was a dear man with a good sense of humor that served him well in tough crowds.
John was a development advocate with a vision to revitalize downtown, and served on dozens of boards and commissions statewide proving to be a leadership giant.
He lived big, thought big and leaves us with reminders of the fruits of labor all around San Diego. In addition to being civic-minded, I shared his deep love for the work of Mark Twain.
Thank you for your community service and your many gifts, Mr. Davies. You were a prince among men.
