A little further digging would find that the handful of folks with Mayor Sanders pushing the sales tax are “rent seekers” — people and organizations seeking from government what they can’t freely earn in the marketplace, or through persuasion.
These No on D supporters took time out of their work schedules and stood in the rain to voice their personal opinions on this tax. We are ALL Pubic Safety supporters; we just do not believe our tax dollars are being budgeted appropriately and Prop D is NOT the solution.
