Most Americans have deep personal convictions about whether Donald Trump should be president again. As said by many a bouncer, “Take it outside.”
This column is about the Lilliputians, the legions of prosecutors at all levels of government, bringing criminal charges against Trump — all obviously intended to manipulate the 2024 election.
I’ve had the privilege of practicing law for most of my adult life. I’ve been fortunate to avoid a “pigeonhole” career and gained experience in several practice areas — including criminal prosecution. Prosecutors don’t seek convictions; they seek justice. Compared with prosecutors’ Professional Standards, none of the cases filed against Trump pass muster.
