Remember the Democratic activists, in the street, screaming “Bush Lied. People Died!” ? They burned him in effigy, called for his impeachment, and suggested that he and Vice President Cheney were war criminals.
President Obama (and Secretary of State Clinton) were going to change all that. They didn’t. In fact, they bombed 7 countries to Bush’s 4 and they bombed twice as many Muslim countries as Bush did.
The Huffington Post called her the “candidate of the war machine”, saying she her “record as Secretary of State is among the most miltaristic and disastrous in American history”. The New York Times reported that
“Her (Clinton’s) conviction would be critical in persuading Mr. Obama to join allies in bombing Colonel Qaddafi’s forces. “. Professor Michael Brenner paints her as a neo-neoconservative in The Globalist by saying “It is no coincidence that Secretary Clinton has drawn admiring remarks from Robert Kagan and other neoconservative luminaries. They envisage her as a president sympathetic to their audacious, muscular conception of American foreign policy”.
BOTTOM LINE: Hilary Clinton is a warmonger. She doesn’t mirror your “alleged” convictions, Democratic voters.
