I just wanted to send you a quick note to express my heartfelt appreciation. After many months of hard work, it was truly gratifying to see our collective efforts rewarded by the voters on Election Day. Our tireless efforts paid off Tuesday night when we finished FIRST in the open primary against two highly funded opponents.
But our campaign is not over yet. In fact, it’s just beginning.
While last night’s results were encouraging and we prevailed as the top vote getter, I know that we will have a very competitive election this fall. And I promise you that I will work harder than ever to secure victory in November.
This race will continue to be the most hotly contested election in San Diego County. I’m so humbled by all of your support and work you’ve helped me with to get to this point. Now, can I count on you again so that we can WIN on November 8th?
I can’t thank each of you enough for your support…and your votes. I hope that I can continue to count on you now as we look toward November. So many of you gave your time, energy, and contributions, and it’s your steadfast support that carried me through on Election Day.
