Democratic candidate for San Diego County Sheriff Dave Myers trolled incumbent Sheriff Bill Gore on Facebook:
“Bill Gore, where is your statement condemning hate, condemning Neo-Nazi? My grandfather and his fellow soldiers fought to stop Nazi’s. The citizens of San Diego expect their Chief Law Enforcement Officer to speak out against Neo-Nazi, white supremacy.”
This is just one more reason why Myers is a really bad candidate to challenge Gore; he makes crazy statements. Gore may be a tyrant but he’s no neo-Nazi sympathizer. Gore actually confronted a white supremacist with force and suffered political fall out from that decision. Who was that alleged white supremacist?
Myers could offer that Gore was “just doing his job” but he loses that argument when he claimed the (unearned) moral superiority of having a grandfather who confronted Nazis with arms, as a soldier. His grandfather was “just doing his job.”
FACT: Bill Gore confronted an armed, alleged white supremacist with force. Myers is a buffoon and not worthy of your vote for Sheriff.
FACT: Bill Gore doesn’t respect the Constitution. Thus, he is a tyrant and not worthy of your vote for Sheriff.
