ENCINITAS MAYOR, SANDAG CHAIR JEROME STOCKS TO HEAD DANON FOR SUPERVISOR CAMPAIGN
Encinitas, CA – Jerome Stocks, Encinitas Mayor and San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) chair, representing all 18 cities throughout the region, today announced he will chair the Steve Danon for County Supervisor campaign.
“It’s a pleasure to join Steve’s campaign as Campaign Chairman,” said Stocks. “It’s crucial to the health of our region that the next Third District Supervisor be a true partner with the cities in the district to ensure that the needs of its residents are met. I am one of many elected officials and community leaders who have gotten behind Steve knowing that he will be that kind of partner,” said Stocks.
“Because I’ve seen Steve’s tireless work ethic first-hand, I know he will be ready on day-one to champion pro-business regulatory reforms, sponsor measures that implement accountability in County government, advocate for our schools, and make sure our law enforcement officials have the resources necessary to keep our streets and neighborhoods safe. The County needs Steve. I look forward to assisting his campaign,” concluded Stocks.
“Mayor Stocks has been an effective leader in North County and throughout the San Diego region, and I am honored to have him join my campaign,” said Danon. “I am looking forward to working with Mayor Stocks and the other elected officials in the region on the many initiatives I’ve put forward to make San Diego County a better place to live, work and play,” said Danon.
