Every war comes to an end, and the war over control of the Republican Central Committee that has heatedly flared, on and off for the past two years, is over. In the last four days, in a sweeping route, Republican Chairman Tony Krvaric’s ‘organization’ has emerged wholly victorious over what became an ever shrinking, and every more bizarre, collection of malcontents.
Witness last week’s anonymous email, which accused Republican Party Chairman Ron Nehring and Tony Krvaric of a variety of crimes. The result? A Sacramento Bee investigation and article which, from most perspectives, all but said “there is nothing there.” A loss of credibility for the malcontents.
Witness the anonymous email over the weekend, which again made the accusation and gave the Monday night Central Committee meeting as the time and place all the sundry details would be rolled out. The result? No press conference, no evidence. Further loss of credibility for the clearly deranged anonymous writer, and probably a criminal and/or civil suit.
Witness the Monday night Central Committee, which saw one of the most active of the malcontents removed from the committee by a 44 to 1 vote. The result? A demonstration of raw votes that made it clear to even the most doubtful observer that the Krvaric team had the votes they needed to control the committee.
Witness the resignations of the malcontent ringleaders and their appointees from the Republican Party today. The result? With the resignation of two of the major ringleaders and their appointees there is not enough of a malcontent organization to matter. The fight is over.
This happened quick. It was worth watching in some detail…

Does that mean he knows the person is a male, or is he just using proper English?” That’s a very good question. I’ve found when a losing faction is disintegrating, some people want to be reaccepted and are willing to make all sort of information trades… or maybe already have. Sleep well, “anonymous” and think about the ramifications if your words are tied to your name.)
