From Ryan Clumpner…

I’m happy to announce that the Lincoln Club will be making some big changes to our management structure, designed to expand our bandwidth and the scope of our impact on local politics in 2016.

Effective February 1, I will be stepping down as Executive Director and transitioning to a strategic consulting role with the Lincoln Club. I will continue to work closely with the Club on a number of our initiatives, including coalition building and the execution of our independent expenditure campaigns.

Brian Pepin will take my place as the new full-time Executive Director. Brian comes to us from the Office of Mayor Faulconer, where he has served as the City Council Liaison for the past two years. He has nearly unmatched experience in both political campaigns and governmental affairs across San Diego County. For your convenience, I have included Brian Pepin’s contact information below.

We believe that this new arrangement will help us better accomplish two critical priorities in 2016: expand the scope and quality of our direct political action and improve organizational development, member recruitment and events.

It has been a privilege to serve the Lincoln Club as Executive Director for the past two years. I am grateful for the opportunity and look forward with excitement to the success we will achieve together in the coming year.
